Kendrick Lamar “DAMN.” : Album review

Since Kendrick dropped the cues of his upcoming album on Instagram he has the inter webs in a frenzy. His track The “Heart Part 4” which was released around March 23rd instantly grabbed peoples attention, but could it have been a strategic plan to take the lime light from Drakes release?
Once he dropped what seems to be the leading single entitled “Humble” the idea that he might be taking shots at Drake and Big Sean started floating around.

With the release of Kendrick’s new album “DAMN.” its 14 tracks of creativity and melodic rhythms is without a doubt a well put together album. While the “HUMBLE” record is nearly centered at track 8 on the album the “LOYALTY” track featuring Rihanna seems to be a instant radio hit, and it appears Kendrick may be taking a jab a pop stardom with his track “GOD”.
Kendrick holdskendrick-new-album-cover no bars showing not only his lyrical ability but also displaying his various flows on the track “DNA” which is filled with a trap beat feel.

Although “DAMN” may take a couple listens to completely understand the idea beyond the album it is no doubt a classic in the making.
